Coach Park Hang-seo and VPMilk launch the “Taller Vietnam” project for undernourished children

Coach Park Hang-seo and VPMilk launch the “Taller Vietnam” project for undernourished children

On the morning of 1 June, VPMILK Joint Stock Company and Coach Park Hang-seo discussed nutrition for Vietnamese children and committed to working together to improve the physical and mental development of young Vietnamese.

Coach Park Hang-seo, VPMilk's brand ambassador who has supported VPMilk's children's nutrition programmes for six years, said: “One of the key reasons the Vietnamese national team wins is the players' nutrition and physical training. That is also why I have stood with VPMilk for many years — improving the physical and mental strength of young Vietnamese is something both VPMilk and I care deeply about and are determined to achieve. Through this project with VPMilk's IQLac Colostrum, I hope to help improve children's weight and height so they catch up with healthy growth, creating a generation of tall, healthy Vietnamese children.”

During his visit to VPMILK's office, Coach Park Hang-seo officially signed a carton of IQLac Colostrum – light on the tummy, great appetite, healthy weight gain – VPMilk's special nutritional milk for picky and stunted children, launching the “Taller Vietnam” project for undernourished and stunted children across Vietnam.

According to the National Nutrition Survey (2018–2020) published by the Ministry of Health, one in five children under five is stunted (low height for age). While children's health has steadily improved — a real achievement for Vietnam's health sector — stunting rates still vary widely between regions, and remain high in rural areas, the Central Highlands and the northern mountainous provinces.

In response, VPMilk developed IQLac Colostrum as a special nutritional solution for undernourished children and picky eaters. Added L-Lysine, Vitamin B1 and MCT fats help children enjoy their food, reduce picky eating and gain weight healthily. The formula combines the “golden” nutrient HMO (2'-FL) with four times the dual FOS/Inulin fibre to strengthen and develop the gut microbiome for healthy digestion. In particular, 24-hour colostrum, rich in natural IgG antibodies, works with the essential minerals zinc and selenium to boost children's resistance.

Thanh Nhàn, a mother in Ho Chi Minh City, said: “My child has been drinking IQLac Pro for picky and undernourished children for almost a year. Her appetite has clearly improved — she eats well and more willingly, and I no longer have to remind or coax her. This year IQLac has added premium 24-hour colostrum, which I feel is an essential nutrient right now to further boost her resistance.”

Mr Nguyễn Việt Thắng, VPMilk's Deputy General Director, said: “VPMilk's bond with Coach Park Hang-seo over the years feels like a natural, happy meeting of people who share one wish: a tall, healthy, bright and talented young generation of Vietnamese. To continue our mission, alongside serious investment in researching and producing delicious, quality milk, we will create more projects and nutritional solutions, especially for undernourished and stunted children nationwide. Coach Park Hang-seo's signature on VPMilk's newly launched IQLac Colostrum shows our determination to keep supporting the nutrition of Vietnamese children.”

At the event, Coach Park Hang-seo and VPMilk also donated VND 300 million (in cash and milk) to disadvantaged children nationwide through Tiền Phong newspaper. It is one of many community nutrition programmes VPMilk has carried out over the years in its commitment to improving the physical and mental development of young Vietnamese.
